Night Vision Driving Glasses
By Dave Cleary
Have you ever had a problem with the glare of oncoming headlights? If so, then you may have already heard of Night Vision Driving Glasses. There are many of us who feel uncomfortable driving after sunset and some will even avoid it altogether. Recent traffic studies have confirmed what we already knew and that is that most driving accidents happen after dark. There are many reasons why this is so, and many of us have been in these situations all too often. Some of us will have light sensitive eyes which will only add to our woes when driving in the evening time. The glare from oncoming traffic can overwhelm some people and this is when most of these accidents seem to happen. Have you ever noticed how some people can’t seem to stand the camera flash at parties. They cover their eyes instinctively and there is a good reason for this behavior. They are sensitive to bright light and a flash will make them temporarily blind for a few seconds. The same applies to the oncoming glare of headlights, they are like a camera flash to those of us with light sensitive eyes and this can be real dangerous for night drivers. Many of these drivers will end up in the center of the road or up on the ditch when they are confronted by headlights. We often wonder why a driver will not dim their headlights when approaching us. Most will dim but there is always going to be the odd person who will either forget or just couldn’t be bothered. So it’s up to us to find a solution for this problem so we can feel comfortable while driving at night. The best solution by far is Night Vision Driving Glasses. These glasses can significantly reduce the glare from oncoming traffic. They are coated with an anti reflective coating which will block the glare but leave in some on the natural light so we can still see properly. Some of the good brands have an anti reflective coating on both sides of the lens which will give better glare protection. These glasses are not too expensive either so they are easily affordable to almost everyone. Many report that their night driving has improved in leaps and bounds after using these glasses, they say that the glare from oncoming traffic is no longer an issue and that they can make out signposts and other objects far better than they ever could before.Overall, driving at night can be troublesome for some of us but there is no real need to be in this situation as anti glare driving glasses can solve this problem.

These are non prescription glasses for people who don't normally wear glasses for driving. However you can also get prescription night driving glasses from your optometrist if you need them. Dave
